G’day!

Trust you could all enjoy your weekend! Mine was pretty relaxed.
The practice last Friday was really good, despite the fact that Andy,(our bass player),
wasn’t able to be there…we did our best! ;-)
As a band we want to continue meeting regularly and keep things moving musically,
even though Andy’s going to be out of action until, (at least), mid Feb.
I’ve battled with the point of it all at the moment…but the guys don’t feel this is all a waste of time…which really encouraged me to keep going. (Thanks guys!)

How was the weekend?
On Saturday night, I was at a concert from a band a guitar student of mine is in,
(Burning Soil)…very cool…he did a great job…with, and without his T-shirt on! ;-)))
Last week we had to can the planned practice, because my bass player had injured his
left elbow while snowboarding. It looks like he’s going to be out of action for a while.
But the rest of us have decided to meet anyway this Friday, despite it all, and continue.
I don’t quite know what’s going on right now, but I’m not going to let it get me down.

Hi there!
I hope you all had a better start into the new year than I did! I picked up a virus on New Years Eve..not a computer one, a real one!…and it knocked me flat up until 2 days ago.
So, needless to say, all I’d planned went flew right out the window. I’m doing better now and feel strength returning again.
This coming Friday we’ll be meeting as a band to rehearse, and to plan ahead a bit for the coming year.
I’ve really missed not playing with the boys!!!
