G’day, G’day!!

Hope you’ve all had a good week so far.
Yesterday’s band practice went well….it’s nice to see the songs coming to life again…
and we’re through about half list. All going well, we should be through all the songs very soon.
With Good Friday coming up tomorrow, and the Easter weekend ahead, I’ve been thinking again about the ransom of love, paid by God to open up the way for us to be put right with Him- forgiven & restored-having peace with God.
A ransom paid by Jesus death- so that we wouldn’t have to pay it ourselves; resurrection from the dead-so we can experience being put right with God now, in our daily lives.
I hope you can take a few moments over the next days, to think about this ransom paid in love by God.

Hey beautiful people!

How was the week?
I hope you’re all keeping well.
Stevie Ray Vaughan has had the most impact on my playing more than anyone else,
and this week I took nearly every free minute checking out one of his major influences- Albert King.
This guy’s playing totally fascinated me!!! I don’t know why, & I don’t know what it was, but it grabbed me!
You could here where Stevie got a lot of his inspiration from, and Albert’s ideas spawned some new ideas for me as well…always good to get some fresh input.

This coming Wednesday we’ll be having another band practice… looking forward to that & to getting the songs up and running again.

Man oh man…can’t believe it’s been a week since I last had time to sit down
& write something!!
Well, all the work that went into the MOG Band CD Release Party last week, really paid off!
The concert last Saturday was amazing!
The crowd loved it, and it was great to enjoy the freedom on stage again.
Seeing God’s blessing on the whole thing too made it all worth while….ya can’t beat that.
This week’s been full catching up on what I didn’t get to last week!!!!
Today I had another practice with STRiNGFELLOW, and we got through the songs well….things are moving
and coming together…it’s looking good.
